• RDL coils: Usually operate at moderate wattages and can work with 50/50 or higher-VG liquids depending on the coil design.

Dotmod dotBox 220W V2 Battery Requirements

The Dotmod dotBox 220W V2 requires two matching high-drain 18650 batteries. Batteries are not included with the mod and must be purchased separately.

Both cells should be the same brand, model, capacity, age and condition. Purchase the batteries together and keep them as a married pair, charging and discharging both cells together throughout their usable life.

Do not mix batteries with different ratings or combine a new cell with an older battery. Always inspect the battery wraps and top insulators before use.

Higher wattage settings place greater demand on the batteries, so it is important to select cells with a suitable continuous discharge rating for your intended power level.

Charging the Dotmod dotBox 220W V2

A USB-C cable is included for convenient in-device charging and occasional top-ups. For regular charging, a dedicated external battery charger is generally the preferred option for dual-18650 devices.

An external charger allows the condition and charging status of both batteries to be monitored independently.

Never charge damaged batteries or cells with torn wraps. Batteries should not be left charging unattended, and loose cells must always be transported in a suitable protective battery case.

3. Attach a compatible 510 tank without overtightening the connection.
