What are Replacement Pods?
Replacement pods for a vape kit are small cartridges that can be filled with e-liquid, which is then used to vaporise and inhale the liquid using an e-cig or vape device. Unlike pre-filled pods, these pods are designed to be reusable, allowing users to refill them with their preferred e-liquid flavours until the coil is burnt out and the pod needs replacing.
Replaceable pods can be easily clicked in and out of your pod system. Although the original vape pods were designed to be thrown away once the e-liquid was used up, these days there are a range of refillable pods available. Whilst some pods allow you to change the coil and enjoy advanced vape settings such as variable wattage for a more tailored vaping experience, this range of pods revolves around pure simplicity. Simply select your vape pod, click it into your vape kit and you're good to go!
In the past, most pod kits were designed for MTL vaping. Today, growing numbers of pod kits are also compatible with sub-ohm coils for a more intense vaping experience. That's why we stock a range of vape pods in different resistances from brands such as Voopoo, Geekvape and Uwell.
Replacement Pods FAQs
Most replacement pods are designed for MTL vaping, in which case it is best to use either nic salt e-liquid or 50/50 e-liquid. If you are using a refillable pod that has a built-in sub-ohm coil, it is best to use a shortfill e-liquid with a high VG content instead. Many brands offer their refillable pods in a variety of different resistances, so be sure to choose carefully and select to the right resistance for both your style and vape kit.
This depends on a variety of factors, including how often you vape, the type of e-liquid you use, and the quality of the replacement pod itself. However, most replacement pods should be replaced every 1-2 weeks to ensure optimal flavour and vapour production.
To refill your pod, remove it from the pod system itself and then remove the mouthpiece. Then, take your e-liquid bottle and insert the nib into the fill hole, squeezing the e-liquid out until it reaches the fill line. Be sure not to overfill the pod as this can cause leaks and internal damage to your vape device. Click the mouthpiece back on and insert the pod back into your device. Allow the e-juice to saturate into the wick before taking your first inhale in order to get more flavour from your vape juice.
When choosing replacement pods for your vape, it's important to ensure that they are compatible with your existing pod system. Although some pods are compatible with multiple pod kits by a single brand, many refillable pods are only compatible with one particular pod kit. For example, if you're using a pod kit made by Uwell you will need to ensure you are using the right vape pod to fit that device from Uwell too.
Refilling your replacement pods is a simple and easy task, requiring absolutely no tools at all but your hands, fingers and close attention!
Most replacement pods have a visible window that allows you to see how much e-liquid is left in the pod. When the e-liquid level is low, it's time to refill your replacement pod. You may also notice a decrease in flavour or vapour production when it's time to refill.
Vape pods are small, pre-filled or refillable cartridges that hold the e-liquid and coil. They are designed to be used with a specific pod style vape kits and are often more compact and discreet than tanks, making them a popular choice for on-the-go vaping.
Vape tanks play a similar role in that they are also responsible for holding the e-liquid and coil, but differ in that they are much larger than pods and are designed for use with bigger, more powerful vape kits. They typically have adjustable airflow and can be used with a variety of atomiser coils, allowing for more customisation in terms of vapour production and flavour. Tanks are often favoured by experienced vapers who prefer to fine-tune their vaping experience.
