What are aspire coils?
Aspire coils are replaceable heads designed for Aspire tanks and kits, covering everything from Nautilus MTL set-ups to sub-ohm cloud tanks. They use different wire formats (including BVC and mesh) and resistances to tailor draw, warmth and vapour. Browse our wider coils range for context here.
What are the key types?
Two main families lead the way: BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) for dependable, tight-draw vaping, and mesh for faster heating and fuller flavour. BVC options dominate the Nautilus line for MTL use, while mesh appears in series like Cleito and Flexus for airier, DTL vaping. If you prefer bigger clouds, see our sub-ohm coils overview.
What is the best aspire coils?
“Best” depends on your tank, wattage and e-liquid. For a classic cigarette-style inhale, Nautilus BVC variants are popular for 50/50 juice and lower power. If you want a warmer, airier vape, Aspire’s mesh options (paired with high VG e-liquids) often deliver a richer, denser puff. Always check the exact coil type your tank supports.
Choosing the right aspire coils
Match coil to tank first, then pick resistance: ~0.6Ω–1.8Ω suits MTL styles and moderate wattage; ≤0.4Ω is typically DTL and higher wattage. Pair 50/50 or nic salts with MTL coils; choose high VG for mesh/sub-ohm. Prime new coils with a few drops of e-liquid, fill the tank, and start at the lower end of the recommended wattage before gently increasing.
