GeekVape Z Nano 3 Tank Review
Overview
The GeekVape Z Nano 3 Tank is a compact 22 mm tank designed around GeekVape's Boost coil family. It is intended to sit on box mods via a standard 510 connection and offers a flexible mouth-to-lung to restricted direct-to-lung experience depending on coil choice and drip tip.
What you get in the box
- Two Boost-series coils: a 0.4 ohm coil rated 25 to 45 W, and a higher-wattage coil rated around 50 to 58 W.
- Two 510 drip tips: a thinner tip and a wider stubby tip.
- A spare piece of bubble glass and spare O-rings.
- A small tool for removing the push-fit coil.

Geekvape Z Nano 3 Vape Tank
The Geekvape Z Nano 3 is a compact top-airflow tank built for dependable flavour, easy upkeep, and flexible draw options. Using Geekvape B Series Boost coils, it suits vapers who want a small 510 tank that can move between tighter MTL and looser restricted DTL styles.
Best for
- Compact mods
- Boost coil users
- Leak-resistant daily use
Why choose it
A tidy everyday tank with practical leak-resistant design, easy push-fit coils, and enough flexibility to suit a wide range of vaping preferences.
Design and build
The tank is 22 mm at the base and uses a bubble glass to increase capacity. It is 510 compatible for drip tips and works with most standard 510 tips you may already own.
Airflow is top-mounted and the coil is a push-fit type. The glass comes off for access and there are spare glass and O-rings in the box for maintenance. There is GeekVape branding on the external shell.
Coil compatibility and wicking
The Z Nano 3 accepts the original Boost B-series coils. It does not take the Boost MTL-specific coils.
Coil installation is straightforward. The coils push into the base and the outer shell or glass is seated over the coil. When fitting a new coil prime the wick by dabbing e-liquid into the wick holes and a little into the chimney centre, then seat the glass and leave the tank to wick before use. A small removal tool is supplied for extracting the coil if fingers cannot reach.

Geekvape Aegis Boost Replacement Coil
Geekvape Aegis Boost replacement coils are the correct coil family for the Z Nano 3, giving you a choice of resistances to suit different wattages and draw styles. They are a practical add-on for keeping flavour fresh and performance consistent.
Best for
- Replacing used coils
- Restoring flavour
- Tailoring your draw
A useful spare pack to pick up alongside the tank, especially if you want replacement coils ready before performance starts to dip.
Filling, sealing and anti-leak features
Top filling uses a rubber-sealed fill point with a visual indicator that is covered when closed. The tank includes a bottom juice well that provides a small reservoir for any e-liquid that might seep down, reducing the chance of leaks. With top-fill and top airflow, the tank is less prone to leaks unless stored upside down.
Performance and real-world use
Using Boost coils and a 70/30 VG/PG e-liquid delivers a notably smooth vape across the tested coil options. The 0.4 ohm coil will suit higher wattage restricted DTL, while the higher-wattage coil provides a more open vape. Swapping drip tips changes the draw substantially, so you can tune the tank to a more MTL-style or a looser restricted DTL draw depending on preference.
Because it is a 510-equipped tank it will work on most box mods. The top airflow and push-fit coil design make it easy to use daily and perform routine maintenance.
